bau2022The plan is as follows:
9,000 m² (2.2 acres) plot of land (already purchased)
Approx. 165–190 m² (1,775–2,045 sq ft) living space
Approx. 80 m² (860 sq ft) single garage
Heat pump with underfloor, ceiling, and wall heating (optional)
Ventilation system
All windows with blinds, plus an additional mesh for darkening
Planned budget is open
Photovoltaic system with approx. 15 kWp
Contractors will be involved, but with some owner participation (construction time therefore about 3 years)
Both staircases lead to the upper floor, but this will not be finished.
The staircase inside the house leads only to a small hallway. No other rooms.
The garage staircase leads to the technical room.
All paths/passages inside the house have a minimum width of 1.20 m (4 ft)
I created the drawing myself, so the measurements are not 100% accurate.
A professional planner will finalize the plans later.
I didn’t want to spend too much time learning the software.

I would try to design the mother/child/whatever area as a separate zone.
For me, the parent area is a retreat; the anteroom is still for the child, but definitely not intended for the mother.
Of course, this also applies the other way around for the mother or child... 😉
Where do the stairs lead?
From left to right:
Parent area, general area, child, garage. Something like that.

Welcome to the forum.
I like unconventional floor plans, but if you unfold it straight, you roughly get a building footprint of 33 m x 9 m (108 ft x 30 ft): 300 m² (3,230 sq ft) including the garage, storage room, and hobby room within the thermal envelope! Quite impressive.
Long walking distances are definitely necessary. Are you sure you want your walk-in closet located in a hallway?
Out of curiosity: What hobby do you pursue in the hobby room?

It is important to us that as many rooms as possible face south. Yes, I can already spot a few sins here. 😉 The cats have their own garage and more square meters than the mother. 😀
But seriously, a very unusual floor plan with its own unique dimensions, which I find creates odd proportions. Of course, that is a matter of personal taste. Others can probably comment more on that. What stands out to me:
- How often is the guest room for the mother used? Is the dressing room and bathroom intended to be shared there?
- What kind of narrow, corridor-like dressing room is that?
- Why the boomerang shape in general? (We discussed that a while ago already @11ant?)
