Due to the electric heating element being switched on last night combined with -20°C (-4°F), we used a modest 50 kWh of electricity... this generated 106 kWh of heat. That’s not good.
130 sqm (1,400 sq ft) over two full floors, KfW 55 without controlled residential ventilation, indoor temperature between 21.5°C and 22.5°C (70.7°F and 72.5°F)
February 10: -5.9°C to -2.6°C (21.4°F to 27.3°F)
February 11: -11.3°C to 0°C (11.7°F to 32°F)
55 kWh total electricity according to the electricity meter

Daniel-Sp12 Feb 2021 23:01In the last 24 hours, 62.9 kWh of heat was generated for heating and hot water.
Outdoor temperature ranged from 1 to -11.9°C (34 to 11°F), with an average temperature of -5.6°C (21.9°F). The indoor temperature was 23°C (73.4°F), colder than the natural temperature.
The compressor consumed 16.2 kWh. This does not include the consumption of the control electronics and circulation pump. I would need an additional submeter for that. Thanks to sunshine today, there were certainly significant solar gains as well.
Total house consumption was 23 kWh; today, the oven was on for 22 minutes, otherwise only baseline consumption.

Daniel-Sp12 Feb 2021 23:03By the way, that was the highest daily consumption of the compressor so far.
