What is your total electricity consumption? We use 10 kWh per day. That would leave only 10 kWh for hot water and heating. Physically, that’s impossible. I already mentioned that the heat pump reached its target temperature at 1:30 a.m. today. After that, it still produced hot water. The heat pump just turned back on 15 minutes ago. Since the heat pump consumes 2 kWh, it’s easy to extrapolate until midnight. I assume the heat pump will run until midnight. That would be 6 hours of runtime over 24 hours. That means the heat pump uses 12 kWh, and the house consumption is 8 kWh. Otherwise, we usually have 10–12 kWh house consumption. Tomorrow definitely more because I have to charge the car.
How can the heat pump manage to reach the room temperature setpoint with 6kW output in 4 hours at these temperatures, especially since it gets even colder at night? I find that completely incomprehensible. Did you have a KfW 40+ house? It’s probably really extremely well insulated.

Yes, that’s clear, but it still isn’t good, right? It even exceeds my modest consumption...I have no idea, I can’t assess that at all.

Daniel-Sp13 Feb 2021 23:17In the last 24 hours, 48.8 kWh of heat was generated for heating and hot water.
Outdoor temperatures ranged from 1°C to -13.2°C (34°F to 8°F), with an average temperature of -6.4°C (21°F).
Today, the house received a lot of solar heat from morning until evening.
