ᐅ Is it possible to install L-shaped corner blocks during winter?

Hello.
We had an appointment with a landscape gardener who told us that installing 1m (3 ft) high angle stones, also called L-bricks, would only make sense starting in spring. We originally thought they could also be installed in winter. The landscape gardener said there could be problems with the foundation, especially concerning the concrete. It apparently requires certain outdoor temperatures to cure properly.

What are your thoughts on this?

Your landscape gardener is right. "Standard concrete mixes should not be used at 0°C (32°F) or below. It depends on where you are building and how cold it gets there."

We are building in North Rhine-Westphalia. Currently, daytime temperatures are around 10°C (50°F), and nights around 3°C (37°F). Of course, it sometimes drops below 0°C (32°F), but sometimes it also gets warmer. Could the landscaping contractor delay the work until a few warmer days come? Does anyone else have an opinion on this?

When warmer days are expected, the bricks can be laid.

As long as there is no frost, I don’t see this as a problem.

Sounds like the landscaper’s schedule is full and they want to push you back. It’s not possible during the 2–3 weeks of frost each year.
During the 10 weeks without frost, it is possible.
Look for someone else to compare.
