A question for the experts
During our build, the plumber installed the concealed fittings (after prior discussion about which fixtures, etc.), and we installed the faucets and sanitary items ourselves.
However, with all wall-mounted basin faucets, cold and hot water are reversed.
He says this is a construction fault on our part.
I just checked with the supplier online, and the faucets are only available like this.
Am I missing something, or is he trying to cover something up here?!

I would recommend calling the manufacturer directly; they have more detailed information.
After that, you can tell the plumber whether he is right or if he needs to resolve the issue.

The plumber, because he installed the pipes incorrectly?!Did he really? What does the construction plan say about where the cold and hot water connections are supposed to be? That’s the only thing that matters.P

So, who is basically at fault here? Is it us because we installed the “wrong” fittings, or the plumber because he installed the pipes incorrectly?!Both can be right or wrong. It is exactly as @Mycraft says; this needs to be checked. In this context, there are no “wrong” fittings.Similar topics
