Hello,

for our detailed planning, we need an installation plan for the kitchen showing all the connections, but we have not yet found the perfect kitchen. Is it possible to have such a plan created if you know how the kitchen layout should be? At the kitchen showroom, you only get the planning with a purchase contract.

Thank you very much

This should be understandable for professionals. Apart from that, the floor plan should also be available.

Yes, I also think they can work with that. The floor plan will probably be available at the kitchen supplier, but not without a contract.

It's really not that difficult to draw your kitchen space and mark all the cabinet dimensions on the plan. The widths are standardized, and you can measure the distance from the row to the island yourself during visits to various furniture stores (it’s actually helpful to try out and see if the distance works for you). The heights for the oven and other appliances can also be estimated this way.

It just requires some time and effort.

Have you perhaps already offered the kitchen studio to pay in advance for the plan with the exact positioning of the oven and other appliances? Around 200 to 300 euros, which would then be deducted from the kitchen purchase?

You only need to set the line spacing. Provide a dimensioned floor plan, and the plumber will be able to plan water supply and drainage based on the kitchen layout. The same applies to the oven socket on the wall. The dishwasher will be located in the island and also requires a socket on the wall (separately protected); the cable can then be routed in the plinth area. Additionally, provide 2 sockets (separately protected) for lighting and possibly recessed sockets on the worktop.

The sockets on the tall cabinet wall are straightforward. The cabinet grid dimension is 60cm (24 inches); all three visible appliances plus the refrigerator will be separately protected and have a socket placed 20 to 80cm (8 to 31 inches) below the cabinet bottom edge, with the refrigerator also having one above. In addition, there should be at least one more socket for general use, such as drawer lighting or a multi-purpose cutter, positioned at 30cm (12 inches) in the middle. Preferably three, distributed at 30cm height.

Is the cooktop really placed tight against the wall? How do you intend to cook properly like that, or where do you plan to put your left elbow?
