ᐅ Which downdraft vent system would you recommend for a new kitchen? Any suggestions?

Hello, we are about to order a kitchen but cannot decide which downdraft extractor to choose.

The options are:
Bora Basic
Miele ....
Both cost around 3000 euros (approximately 3200 USD).

The Miele looks nicer, but for me it is more important that it works well and reliably.

Are there any long-term experiences?
Any recommendations with reasons?
I would really appreciate it.

I can’t confirm that. Sure, you can’t remove 100% within 30 seconds. But a fan with activated carbon also works!
Well, it does remove some with activated carbon, but when the well-known forum expert spreads obvious clichés again, I just have to step in and correct.

You’re really making a fool of yourself right now!

I also don’t see why fresh activated carbon filters wouldn’t be effective. The airflow path through the material is also crucial.
Reason?

Personal experience and advice from a kitchen retailer with 25 years of expertise.

I also don’t believe that Miele is much worse than the competition here.

Logically, if there is a lot of smoke, where should it go with a recirculation hood?

If there is a lot of smoke, it means it is burnt.

This is the case, for example, with beef tenderloin and basically any dish that requires a roasted crust.

Anyone who cooks properly will never be satisfied with a convection system or, like myself, simply has to ventilate afterwards.

You just have to avoid having unrealistic expectations.
