Hello everyone,

I’m interested in knowing which ceiling height you have chosen or are likely to choose.

Are you satisfied with your choice? Looking back, would you choose a different ceiling height? If yes, why?

Best regards
Ddorfer

P.S. For the survey, please select the ceiling height that is closest to yours.

Are you referring to the clear ceiling height measured from the finished floor or the structural rough opening?

Consider ceiling height, otherwise I wouldn’t want to live in most houses ☺️

We will probably only manage 2.50 meters (8 feet 3 inches). If I could choose, I would want more.

Basement 2.50m (8.2 ft)
Ground Floor 2.65m (8.7 ft)
Attic 2.50m to 3.80m (8.2 ft to 12.5 ft)

Basement: 2.38 m (7 ft 9 in) – high enough for a usable cellar with a workshop, etc.
Ground floor: 2.60 m (8 ft 6 in) – 2.70 m (8 ft 10 in) would be better; I wouldn’t want it any lower than 2.55 m (8 ft 4 in)
Upper floor: 1.89 m to 3.70 m (6 ft 2 in to 12 ft 2 in)

We have
basement 2.65 m (8 ft 8 in)
ground floor 2.65 m (8 ft 8 in)
upper floor 2.70 m (8 ft 10 in)
And we would do it the same way again
