Hello,
who here has aluminum roller shutters, possibly in a specific color?
For example, matching the window frames, blinds, front door, or garage door?
You often see colored surfaces between windows that create the effect of a continuous band. But when the roller shutter is lowered on such a colored band, and the very attractive gray of a plastic roller shutter appears, it no longer looks as nice.
Some blinds, which are also made of aluminum, are often seen with anthracite-colored slats, for example. So why not have that option for roller shutters?
Best regards!

Hello Bautraum2015,
I am also very interested in the material. Aluminum does not have such a large thermal expansion that I wouldn’t trust a shutter manufacturer to produce a warping-free shutter.
As for blinds, which I believe are always made of aluminum, I haven’t heard any complaints so far.
Looking forward to more posts.

Do you mean by blinds something like venetian blinds with slats? That would actually have been my next question. You often see these in colors like anthracite on very large surfaces. As far as I know, they are also made of aluminum. How do they perform there?
Does anyone have experience with this?

This is how we do it as well…

That’s how we’re doing it as well...I’d love to see a picture of it once it’s done.
Thanks for the info!

However, we found 7012 - 7016 too overused.

Yes, the color selection is basically a primary color concerning the house’s exterior and other influencing factors. But a slightly lighter gray doesn’t have to be wrong either.
