who here has aluminum roller shutters, possibly in a specific color?
For example, matching the window frames, blinds, front door, or garage door?
You often see colored surfaces between windows that create the effect of a continuous band. But when the roller shutter is lowered on such a colored band, and the very attractive gray of a plastic roller shutter appears, it no longer looks as nice.
Some blinds, which are also made of aluminum, are often seen with anthracite-colored slats, for example. So why not have that option for roller shutters?

Yesterday, I spoke with someone who has colored aluminum roller shutters. He described the color as brown-gray, and there have been no issues at all. No warping or sticking on hot or cold days. Full sunlight does not affect the functionality whatsoever. And we had plenty of hot days this summer.
I believe it is a matter of taste and budget when someone chooses colored aluminum roller shutters.

The general message was that they only manufacture roller shutters wider than 220 cm (87 inches) in aluminum because plastic will warp either inward or outward. Not immediately, but eventually, and you want to enjoy your shading for a longer time.
