ᐅ Windows in a house from 1955 – double glazing or triple glazing???

Hello everyone,
I have purchased a mid-terrace house from 1955 that urgently needs new windows.
In total, it concerns only 7 windows plus windows in dormers that still need to be built.
(3 x 1050x1330 mm (41 x 52 inches), 2 x 1800x1600 mm (71 x 63 inches), 2 x balcony doors 1030x2200 mm (41 x 87 inches))

The house is not insulated inside or outside and will remain that way.
What type of windows would you recommend here (wood, uPVC/plastic), and what should I pay attention to? Double glazing or triple glazing? Any special frames?

And lastly: What price including removal and how many months should we roughly expect?

We don’t know enough about your house. I suspect it has monolithic walls of 25 cm (10 inches) solid brick from 1955, but that is just a guess. Do the reveals still have stops?
A lot can be damaged during removal. In my opinion, the most important thing is that the installer is competent. Have them also handle the window procurement.
