ᐅ Which water pipe is it?

Dear forum,
Can anyone tell me what type of pipe is used for my water lines (see photo), if it can be identified from the picture? That would be very helpful.
The house is an Elkhaus, built in 1993.

Looks like a plastic composite pipe to me. Take a utility knife and carefully scrape a small section at a 90-degree angle along the pipe. If the plastic peels off, it is most likely a PE composite pipe.

Now that it is daylight again, I removed some of the foam and took a new photo – it’s clearer now.
Could this be some kind of PPR pipe? In other words, can I work on this pipe using a socket fusion welding tool?
