We are currently considering which outdoor furniture to choose for our patio. I would prefer something comfortable to lounge in since we will already have a dining set in the gazebo. That’s why I like the idea of a lounge set. However, I'm wondering how durable these pieces are. Our patio is not covered, and the furniture would have to stay outside during winter as well.
I was thinking of something like this:

The furniture is made of aluminum with rattan.
Does anyone have experience with this type of furniture? Can it withstand all weather conditions if left outside? Would protective covers be enough?
What kind of outdoor furniture have you chosen for your patio, and why?

Exactly! The seat depth is completely unsuitable for sitting.
With teak, keep in mind that although it looks nice, it is quite heavy. If you need to move the chairs or armchairs around often, that can be inconvenient. Additionally, some models require regular oiling to prevent graying. However, this depends on how the material was initially treated.
I now prefer metal or stainless steel with synthetic mesh. It is lightweight and still attractive. This combination is available in all price ranges.

Just google polyrattan weave. You’ll find flat weaves like those used by @Pierre and round weaves. The flat ones are much more prone to damage. How can I find suppliers with round weave?H

We have a set from Stern. Stainless steel and ceramic tabletop, chairs with synthetic wicker.
Solpuri was also shortlisted.
Rattan is definitely not an option for me, I agree with zaba. I'm not even 70 yet.
As a lounge set, I find Kettler Royal very interesting. I saw it in a store and it was incredibly comfortable, can stay outside, and felt very high quality. Unfortunately, it's not exactly cheap.
