We are currently considering which outdoor furniture to choose for our patio. I would prefer something comfortable to lounge in since we will already have a dining set in the gazebo. That’s why I like the idea of a lounge set. However, I'm wondering how durable these pieces are. Our patio is not covered, and the furniture would have to stay outside during winter as well.
I was thinking of something like this:

The furniture is made of aluminum with rattan.
Does anyone have experience with this type of furniture? Can it withstand all weather conditions if left outside? Would protective covers be enough?
What kind of outdoor furniture have you chosen for your patio, and why?

Does anyone have a recommendation for good-quality garden furniture that doesn’t look like it belongs to grandparents? Table 240cm (95 inches) wood/metal?Try searching for "Extremis Hopper".tomtom79 schrieb:

I think it’s great; I saw this at a user’s place 2-3 years agoMy examples are also from Artelia. They look high quality. Whether they hold up over time is hard to say.I also think this is very cool:
But unfortunately it’s a bit too wide for us.

I think it’s great, saw it at a user’s place 2-3 years agoThanks for the tip. A friend has something like this too. I actually like it quite a lot. However, my wife really doesn’t like the rattan look... :/
So my question is: Is there something similar without rattan?
We still have my grandparents’ old garden furniture at the moment, and I really want to replace it ^^
We have been searching since last year and do not like rattan at all.
At a garden furniture exhibition, we came across this table:
4Seasons Maison triangular table stainless steel/teak
With 6 high-back chairs, it looked great. However, our terrace is the wrong shape for it, and the total price was quite a shock.

Fummelbrett!2 Mar 2020 09:49We have patio furniture from Hartman. A round table with a diameter of 160 cm (63 inches) and a glass top, along with 4 quarter-circle benches. The furniture (polyrattan?) is placed in a sheltered outdoor seating area; however, two benches have been outside for three years due to the layout – they show no damage and withstand the conditions well. The cushions, of course, need to be stored indoors.
