Hello everyone,
What type of roof did you choose and why? Many of you probably faced restrictions due to the building permit or planning permission. What were those restrictions? What did you decide on as a result, and what would you have chosen without any limitations? Are you satisfied with your choice? What would you do differently now?
And to all those interested in building: What about you? Do you already have a favorite roof style?
Best regards,
Ddorfer
P.S. If your option isn’t listed, please choose the one that comes closest.

Therefore, I don’t quite understand what your question or my answer is supposed to achieve.
What is the purpose of your "which" questions? Are you looking to build a house that serves as a representative cross-section of all common preferences, essentially the statistical "average house"? Your questions will be addressed in a preliminary or final design by an architect, tailored to the specific site conditions, building and planning regulations (building permit / planning permission), and your budget.

But by now we know that a gable roof actually offers several advantages, for example, it is more cost-effective.

Ideally, we would have preferred to build a two-story townhouse with a hip roof, but unfortunately, that was not possible.
