Hello everyone,

I have 2.80m (9 feet 2 inches) of width on my property for a carport or garage. However, I would really prefer a garage if possible.
To fit my car inside and still be able to get out comfortably, I need 2.70m (8 feet 10 inches). 2.60m (8 feet 6 inches) might still work but it would be quite tight.
I’m interested to know if there are suppliers offering garages with thin walls, or maybe garage extensions or similar solutions to save space.

So far, the suppliers I have contacted all have walls at least 11cm (4.3 inches) thick. But I’m just at the beginning of my search.
I hope someone can share some useful tips.

Good luck

An alternative would be steel garages. The walls there are significantly thinner.

Everything has been said, but what the heck: single-sided open steel garage (also known as lean-to garage).

Thank you.
I am planning to build an extension. Does anyone know if prefabricated garage suppliers can also handle something like this?
Maybe someone has a few example photos?
