Hello everyone,
My wife and I are currently discussing whether to plaster our house in sand color instead of white.
What do you think?

Regards,
Stefan

That’s not mine. A slightly off-white. A hint of cream. That would be my choice. Karsten

The development plan also specifies which facade colors are permitted; in some areas, only brickwork is allowed.

So, on one document (I don’t remember exactly), the appearance is described. The roof color is also regulated.

In our case, only white plaster is allowed, with up to one-third of the surface allowed to have accents in brick and wood, as well as RAL grey tones.

I’m not really in the mood to dig out the building permit / planning permission right now...

Only the roof color is regulated here; there are no requirements regarding the wall colors. There is even a pink house, a neon green one, and a rose-colored house. Of course, those are just the more unusual colors; there are also blue and yellow houses.

That naturally varies everywhere – fortunately!

We do not know how it is arranged with TE Stefan @Bize1980.

We have this kind of sand color, and I really like it now. I would do it again. The only thing is that the windows would have looked better in a darker shade.

Best regards
