ᐅ Which tape to use for masking paint fleece without damaging it

Good morning everyone.

My walls are covered with painter's fleece and painted completely white. I want to add small color accents using a light gray shade. For this, I plan to tape off parts of the painter's fleece to create clean stripes while painting. Now I'm wondering what the best tape to use is, so I don't damage the painter's fleece when removing the tape. Can you use regular masking tape for this?

Tesa Precision Tape. The yellow one for interior use.
