Hello everyone,

I am currently looking for a type of flooring and recently visited a house where I really liked the floor.

However, no one could provide information about the type of floor it is.

Therefore, I would like to use the collective knowledge here and hope someone can point me in the right direction. From my research, it might be something like Doussie or Afzelia.

Thank you very much!

As mentioned: It is not possible to make a definitive statement about the image quality, although I still do not find oak to be unlikely. The color can definitely be achieved somehow.

Definitely not oak.

It's more of a tropical hardwood (hardly any visible growth rings), Merbau!

It could also be teak or mahogany. I think tropical hardwood is correct.

The grain pattern is too wavy, and I can see the typical brown spots of cherry wood.

Wood parquet flooring with visible grain and warm brown tone.

I’m also in favor of cherry wood. Our custom-made carpenter furniture and the parquet flooring look exactly like that :-)

.... American cherry 🙂

And in the end, it’s click laminate, and the owner didn’t dare to say so ... :-)
