muffinplaner17 Jan 2022 09:46Hello everyone,
I am currently looking for a type of flooring and recently visited a house where I really liked the floor.
However, no one could provide information about the type of floor it is.
Therefore, I would like to use the collective knowledge here and hope someone can point me in the right direction. From my research, it might be something like Doussie or Afzelia.
Thank you very much!

I would rather guess it’s some kind of oiled oak.No oak. The grain doesn’t match (nor the color or the dimensions). Merbau, cherry, doussie, or similar. I would take it to a flooring showroom.

Myrna_Loy17 Jan 2022 10:04It is definitely not oak; I would guess steamed American cherry or European cherry, which is more expensive.
Edit: yes, market oak could also be a very good possibility.
