Hello everyone,

I am currently looking for a type of flooring and recently visited a house where I really liked the floor.

However, no one could provide information about the type of floor it is.

Therefore, I would like to use the collective knowledge here and hope someone can point me in the right direction. From my research, it might be something like Doussie or Afzelia.

Thank you very much!

We already discussed the Dr. Zhivago question from "nonstop Nonsense" in this thread from a year and a half ago, which by the way is now missing its initial post: https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/kennt-jemand-den-namen-zu-diesem-belagmuster.35803/ *grin*

I am choosing mahogany 🤨
I know cherry wood somewhat more rustic, without being wild cherry.

No, we have that here. It looks different. Only the color is similar. The grain, broadly speaking, is completely different.
