I can’t say anything about that. First, we need to wait and see what stops working as usual.

When inserting images, only lowercase.

In general, I miss the option to insert an image as a thumbnail only (in the old forum software, you had to click the image to see it full size). This is always a good option when the thumbnail already conveys the main idea or when you need to refer back to the thread for some information. In those cases, large images personally bother me.

Every screenshot must first be saved as a file and cannot currently be pasted directly from the clipboard. Since links are not allowed, this is a significant obstacle for some types of information sharing. It is also inconvenient when you want to highlight certain weak points on floor plans, for example. Then I don’t want to have to save the image every time. In the next post, I will provide a brief comment about the image file and its presentation.

General recommendation for the next relaunch:
- Consult a small user group to test a staging server and software settings.
and
- Announce the relaunch. For example, I had saved bookmarks and am not sure if those will be migrated.

Hmm, the uploaded images seem to be displayed in a standard size.

I uploaded an image with a width of 1589 pixels. My screen has a width of 1920 pixels.

In the following screenshot, you can see the original uploaded screenshot (orange frame) with 1589 pixels, as it appears within the 1920-pixel-wide browser window of the post (green frame).

This is not ideal for floor plan images or similar.

When uploading, I noticed that there is no option to delete an uploaded image before submitting the post. It should be possible to do so.

What do you think about the new house building forum design?
Who's asking?
Too small on mobile, something’s missing, no quoting possible... I was even logged out of my account despite having the checkbox selected.

Actually, no one is asking us...
The answers also reveal a lot.

@hanghaus2023 started the thread (if you write an @..., the system won’t find any users either)

The only positive thing is that it currently does not show me any advertisements and that the site looks a bit more modern. Otherwise, many issues have already been mentioned that I also criticize. Especially the fact that you cannot see the "experience" of the user who is responding.

But the prices for the ad-free subscription have been corrected. The important stuff. LOL and ROFL
