I can’t say anything about that. First, we need to wait and see what stops working as usual.

You should stay logged in ("Stay logged in"), it works for everyone I am in contact with. Only after reloading the page can the browser check if your session is still active. There should be no more issues if you use "Stay logged in." Please provide feedback.

Haha... it didn’t work. I got logged out again. I had to close Firefox, clear the cache, then finally I saw this window and was able to log in again.

This is what I saw, but with 3 messages.

Then I clicked on the lowest message shown to me...
I wanted to read the next messages and then I was offline.

After that, I couldn’t log in anymore.
Tried several times. No luck.
It didn’t accept any login, no checkmark or anything.
Going back one page showed me this.

In the end, I have to clear my browser data, and it feels like three times a day in the evenings. The same happens on my phone.

Funny, I don’t have any issues with this at all. I also use Firefox on my laptop. To browse through a thread, I open a second or third tab to possibly write a reply in the “first” tab window.

Currently, logouts only happen if @webmaster has announced that major updates were applied, during which there may have been internal logouts.

That shouldn’t really happen when “stay logged in” is enabled. Are you sure you had that option activated? Otherwise, I can set up a test environment for you and create a logger to track what’s going wrong.

Since yesterday, every time I haven’t done anything for a while and get logged out (I never selected the “stay logged in” option), I also have the problem that I can’t log back in without fully closing the browser first. If I simply try to log in normally, no error message appears, but the fields for username/email address and password are just empty again.

That actually can’t be the case with “stay logged in.” Are you sure you had that enabled?

But it is, I have it on my phone too using Chrome.
