One of the best decisions we made throughout the house was to have the wastewater pipes installed using Skolan db. We can directly compare this with our neighbors, who have standard HT pipes, and the difference in noise levels is significant. Additional cost: 685.00 euros for 2 bathrooms, 1 guest toilet, and 1 kitchen.

The only downside is that these pipes are slightly thicker than standard ones.

Furthermore, instead of the Geberit Kombifix system, the Geberit Sanbloc element was installed in our toilets, which also produces significantly less noise.

I can only recommend paying close attention to soundproofing in your own home! If your builder states that they are building according to VDI 4000 sound protection level II or even III, that sounds good at first, but it primarily benefits your neighbors, as it concerns noise in other apartments/houses! Soundproofing within your own home must be agreed on separately!
