We purchased a newly built house from Team Massivhaus. However, no one has ever lived in it.
Now, we are noticing rising damp on the inside in some door corners and are wondering if the exterior waterproofing of the foundation slab is correct. Does anyone have experience with this?

The waterproofing would be beneath this membrane. Therefore, it is not possible to say for sure. The question is also for which load case the waterproofing was designed. Often, it is only intended to protect against simple moisture, but not against standing water.

Take your construction documents (if available) and get an expert to inspect the situation on site. If there is still a warranty on the house, you can then make a claim with the builder using the expert’s report.
