ᐅ Surveying Cost Estimation

Hello everyone,

Until now, I have only been a silent reader, but things are getting serious.

So, my first question is how you would assess the following offer for surveying services.

Item 1: Site and elevation plan
Item 2: Site plan for the building permit / planning permission
Item 3: Setting out / staking out
Item 4: Building survey after completion

Total price: €1,700 gross

We are building an urban villa with an attached garage/office extension – approximately 200 m² (2,150 sq ft) of living and usable space, near Dresden.

Isn’t the final survey after completion also missing? Or am I overlooking that right now?

It’s missing, probably an additional item that needs to be paid for separately. I’m just saying that I find it expensive.

Here are the pictures of the wooden stakes. The small pink stake appears to mark the boundary with the eastern neighbor. However, I was not able to find the same stake at the western neighbor’s property.

The as-built survey after completion cost us 1000 euros. If they still need to charge you for that, I think it’s very expensive.
