ᐅ Space requirements for turning radius and maneuvering area in front of the garage

hippjohaHello everyone,
Can anyone tell me approximately how much space is needed to turn around in 2-3 moves (180 degrees)? I haven’t been able to find much information about this online. Unfortunately, our space for access is quite limited, and we will need a relatively long driveway. The question is whether it will even be possible to turn around in front of the garage or not. Attached is a current plan showing roughly how I imagine it.
Thank you very much in advance!

Is there snow where you are? Then just drive your car to an empty snow-covered parking lot, find an untouched corner without any tracks in the snow, and try turning around. Then measure it. Add a safety margin depending on whether the car has parking sensors or not. Also keep in mind that the car may change over the years.
But couldn’t you just reverse out then?

You could also position the garage further to the south, bringing it forward.
The driveway would then be accessed from the southeast. This way, you would have clear access in both directions and be able to turn around using the garage (entering from the left, exiting to the right).
I know there will be some skeptical comments like “The garage should be attached to the house” or “Garage facing the nice south side?” but the fact is: the plot allows for this layout before you start designing too tightly. Unfortunately, this can also apply to the yard, which might cause frustration later if it doesn’t work well.

By mentioning "the history of this thread can be found at https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/Bebauungsplan-Garage-auf-grenze-ausserhalb-Baufenster.27711/", you might make it easier for the participants to assist you, in my opinion.

First of all, thank you for your responses. Unfortunately, we don’t have any snow at the moment, but as soon as we do, I will take some measurements or, if necessary, proceed without them.
The garage must be attached to the house; anything else is a no-go for my partner. I would also prefer to avoid backing out if possible.
We have gone back and forth a lot regarding the driveway and location (see https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/Bebauungsplan-Garage-auf-grenze-ausserhalb-Baufenster.27711/ – thanks 11ant!) and would like to position it this way for several reasons (if possible – the geologist and surveyor will now be involved).
