Hello everyone,
The roof is scheduled to be installed on Monday, but somehow over the past few months, there was a mistaken assumption that the roof tiles would be dark gray, while the development plan only allowed red or brown ones.
Well, the windows are supposed to be dark gray.
Now red and brown really don’t match well with gray :-(
The good thing is, I have a rather flat roof and from the street, you can only see the edge of the roof.
I’ve attached two 3D views.
My wife and I can’t decide.
Do you have any advice to help us decide?
Regards

We have the same “problem” with gray windows and a red or brown roof. In my opinion, standard red roof tiles get dirty too quickly, so we are now going with glazed tiles in dark wine red. The color is burgundy red from Nelskamp, and we are curious to see how it will look with dark gray windows. However, I wouldn’t like brown as much; it somehow looks old-fashioned to me.
Best regards,
Sabine

We have now decided on Braas Harzer Pfanne in deep red.
The good thing is that I can only see the roof when walking along the street about 50m (165 feet) to the south, and after 70m (230 feet) I can’t see it anymore because other houses block the view again.
What I can see from everywhere is the edge of the roof, meaning the first row of roof tiles.
If you want to see what your dark red tiles would look like, you can check out roof simulations.
