Hello everyone,

I need an assessment: Is it possible to place a refrigerator in a pool room?

For up to 1 hour per day, the humidity rises sharply there before the pool is covered again and the moist air is ventilated.

Can the refrigerator handle this, or will it start to rust within a year?

Beverage coolers and vending machines sometimes remain outdoors for years. This also applies to regular refrigerators.

Is there chlorine in your pool? If so, I would not place a refrigerator inside.

Of course, there is chlorine involved. Why wouldn’t you?

Obviously, chlorine is involved. Why wouldn't you then?

Chlorine atmosphere is very aggressive towards metals. In my opinion, a standard refrigerator is not designed for such environments. If it were only humidity, I would have far fewer concerns.
