I am very sensitive to electromagnetic pollution and have already removed all electronic devices from my sleeping area. However, a high-voltage power line runs very close to my house. I fear that my sleep disturbances are caused by this. Is there a way to "shield" a room against electromagnetic pollution?

I have little to add on this topic. Electromagnetic pollution and its effects on humans and animals have not been conclusively proven. There are often references to epidemiological studies when discussing electromagnetic pollution, but I have not found any linked sources or references to the research institutes or the specific scientific studies themselves.

I do not want to dismiss the issue of electromagnetic pollution entirely, but sleep disturbances can have a wide range of causes; attributing them solely to electromagnetic pollution would be too narrow-minded.

Various methods are offered to shield rooms against electromagnetic pollution; you can search the internet for "electromagnetic pollution" – however, I do not wish to comment on the effectiveness of these methods.

That's exactly what I think as well (please don’t take it personally, dear thread starter): The phenomenon of electromagnetic pollution is by no means proven, rather disproven. And many people do not actually “suffer” from it, which should be the case given the large number of devices in use.

People react differently to electromagnetic pollution. Whether it is dangerous or not is still debated among experts. However, for my well-being in the bedroom, I removed some electronic devices, and as a result, I sleep better.

This topic sometimes flares up and can occasionally be due to psychological reasons. However, if someone feels better without electrical devices in the bedroom, they just have to do it that way.
