Hello,

first of all, stainless steel wall panels are no longer available. They used to be called Imperativ and are now only available in frosted glass. The only version with a stainless steel appearance left is called Fastbo. This is a thin particle board covered with a stainless steel foil. You can cut or circle it, for example, to install your outlets on it. There is absolutely no space behind these panels, as they are currently mounted directly on the wall—glued or screwed. At some point, there will be a mounting rail that the panels can be slid onto, but unfortunately, this is not available at the moment; it might be reintroduced in the future. However, even behind that rail, there would only be a few millimeters of space, which would still be too little for your cables. It would be better to get some stylish outlets and install them on the wall panels.

Thanks for the quick reply.
...you’ve already helped me quite a bit!

Do you or does anyone else know if there is an installation manual for these panels available for download somewhere online?
...so I could take a look at it in advance? It would be great if something like that exists!

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Best regards, Stephan

Hi,

there isn’t really a proper installation manual for this. The pieces should be about 60x50cm (24x20 inches) in size. You brush silicone, acrylic, or all-purpose adhesive on the back and stick them onto your wall or tiles. The rail, which will be available again at some point, consists of an upper and lower part, each with a groove. These are 120cm (47 inches) long, are screwed to the wall, and the panels are simply slid in from the side.

Hello

Regarding the rail:
Go to your local hardware store... there you can get an aluminum U-profile quite inexpensively in many different widths... 😉
