In November 2017, we received our 6x3m (20x10 feet) prefabricated garage with a 3x3m (10x10 feet) extension.
Now, after about 9 months, we have around 10 cracks inside, some up to 2m (6.5 feet) long, and outside we have 4 cracks up to 1.5m (5 feet) long. At one spot, a plaster piece about 2x2cm (1x1 inch) has even broken off.
During the installation of the garage with the extension, there were major problems. It had to be adjusted and lifted out 3 times because the garage and extension never fit together properly. In the end, there was a difference of +4cm (1.5 inches) at the top and -4cm (1.5 inches) at the bottom, which was then covered up with a leveling strip.
I contacted the manufacturer G... directly, and they naturally provided an information sheet. According to building regulations, all cracks narrower than 0.4mm (0.02 inches) are not considered visual or watertight defects.
My neighbors have the same garage with an extension, delivered on the same day, and they don’t have a single crack. My parents have had the same garage for 7 years, but without an extension, and they also have no cracks.
So my question to you is: do I have to accept this? Visually, it really doesn’t look good anymore, especially considering the price of nearly €15,000.
Thank you very much.

It really doesn’t look nice anymore I can’t see anything ;-)
But your description gives the impression that a beer bottle replaced the spirit level during the foundation work, and now the "table wobbles" ;-)

However, the description of the uneven height still strongly suggests negligence in the foundation alignment, which basically results in stresses causing the cracks.
