Hello!
I have often read this forum and now have a question myself.
We came across an offer from the provider norgeshus-Nova, where houses from Estonia are available starting at 10,000 euros. We had considered buying an old house cheaply and renovating it ourselves, but building out a shell of a new house seems more practical.
My question is whether anyone here has built with Norges Hus before, and if so, how much it ultimately cost to complete the house to a move-in ready condition.
There must be other providers offering similar services, but I haven’t found any. Maybe someone here has built a prefabricated house with a different company and can share some information?

Hello Gerd, I’m glad that everything worked out with your house construction using NorgesHUS. On my side, nothing has gone well—it’s hard to even describe. We have involved a lawyer and are seeking to reverse the process. They can take it back again. Could we get in touch? I would like to have a conversation with you.
I can only warn everyone against NorgesHUS. We had to pay the full remaining amount, including delivery and installation, before they even started driving out. Overall, we experienced 12 very serious defects. The contact person in Germany had no knowledge at all—just sales, nothing more. The contract is signed in Estonia, so the contractual partner is based in Estonia. Two workers then assemble everything using a ladder without proper scaffolding, moving quickly because they get a fixed price for each house and want to finish fast to start the next one. It was a complete mess. Feel free to contact me if you want to know more.
So, my advice: stay away from NorgesHUS.

In January 2020, our house Norges Hus from Estonia, model 59, was assembled in Burk. We purchased it in Germany through the respective local provider. The building permit / planning permission only took 2 days to be approved. Then it was granted. The foundation turned out very level. There were no issues during assembly. Our house was delivered with the front door and a finished roof with tiles installed. So, the exterior was almost complete. Now the interior finishing begins. The internal wall studs were also installed. Now we can freely decide who will do the interior finishing. There are plenty of options to negotiate prices. Everything is made of wood; a cordless screwdriver is sufficient to complete the rest. And whatever tools are needed. We will install an infrared underfloor heating system and cold water piping. Hot water will be supplied by an instantaneous water heater. We will apply for electricity for heating. The house cost us a total of 50,000 (currency) excluding the foundation and building plot. We made a down payment of 20,000 and paid the remainder upon delivery, once the truck was at our door. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Please get in touch with me. Our experience was different. G
Gerd Karin21 Feb 2021 08:08Hello Dirk, everything has gone smoothly for us so far. I am a retired craftsman myself. Whenever something didn’t go as I expected, I handled it personally. I did the interior work myself since I have the time. Only the electrical installation was done by professionals. The foundation was made from waterproof concrete, of course. It was perfectly straight, and the dimensions matched down to the centimeter (inch). Our roof is watertight, and the windows are properly aligned. All follow-up work has also been completed. There were delays due to COVID-19. Since we are older, the house will probably outlast us. The work during the house assembly was sometimes quite adventurous, but those weren’t my adventures. We are satisfied and consume only about 8000 kWh of electricity per year. Regards
