Hello,
is there a switch with an indicator light that turns on when the power is off and turns off when the power is on? In other words, the opposite of how it usually works.
I would like to see on the outdoor light with an integrated motion sensor when it is turned off, in case someone accidentally switches it off.
So:
Power OFF = Indicator light ON
Power ON = Indicator light OFF

Thank you very much for your help!

Best regards

It should be possible with a two-way switch with indicator light. The outdoor socket would then need to be connected to the output that is not linked to the indicator light (hence a two-way switch; otherwise, this connection would not exist). The socket is therefore on when the switch is in the "Off" position. When switched on, the outdoor socket turns off and the indicator light turns on, and vice versa.

If the outdoor light has a motion sensor, a professional can simply wire it at the light switch so that it always receives power. Note that this should only be done by a professional; a layperson should not attempt this.
