ᐅ Which type of heating system allows me to heat economically using electricity?

-Today, I viewed a really nice apartment that I would have liked to take immediately. Unfortunately, there is a catch: it was built in the 1970s and has only an electric storage heater for heating. The previous tenant had an electricity bill for nearly 30,000 kWh per year!
I definitely do not want to spend that much. However, the house only allows heating with electricity. Now the question is how to heat most cost-effectively with electricity. For example, what is the opinion on Evolit heating systems? What other options are available?

My sister is facing the question of moving into a rental apartment where electricity is the main heating source. We actually advised her against it because heating with electricity is very expensive. Even if the rental apartment is very nice and the neighbors are all friendly. But the costs should not be overlooked. They tend to be quite high with electric heating.
Best regards

Hi,
that’s true, and these points should not be overlooked. Using electricity for heating is quite expensive, and there are more cost-effective alternatives available. No matter how great the apartment is, the costs also need to be considered.
It might be a good idea to do a comparison beforehand.

No, an apartment heated with electricity is out of the question. Electricity is really too expensive for heating. Then you might also have the poor building structure of the house to consider. All of this drives the costs up endlessly.
There are other alternatives in this case.

Hello,
Anyone who believes that heating with electricity does not lead to high costs is greatly mistaken. Electric heating is extremely expensive, and when the house’s insulation no longer works effectively, additional costs arise that are hardly manageable.
A change in thinking is necessary here.
