We are still undecided whether to choose uPVC windows in anthracite or white. The anthracite windows are made of color-through plastic, not a foil finish. Considering the house style (modern, mono-pitched roof, no eaves), anthracite would fit well.
Unfortunately, anthracite will come with an extra cost, but I will only find out the exact price difference during the final selection process.
Are there any other disadvantages of anthracite-colored windows? Can they fade over time?
Can someone share information about the additional costs?
Who has experience with this?

However, these were branded frames with a foil finish.
Do you really want the window interiors to be anthracite as well? Seriously? Sure, it’s possible, but I would think twice about it.

My childhood home had black frames inside, so did my terraced house... unfortunately, my current one has visible white plastic on the inside... there is nothing more elegant than dark black frames, and anthracite is very close to that.

I find it stylish as an interior contrast in some cases, but it also feels a bit heavier and therefore smaller.
I would really think twice about it...
Also, take a look at other colors – anthracite has become a real standard color by now. Not that it’s unattractive, but what if you want something more unique?

I wanted anthracite for the interior as well, but I couldn’t convince my husband, so the inside is white now. I would still prefer anthracite, though. I like the contrast, and we have all the interior walls white anyway.
The additional cost was 20% for anthracite on one side. Having it on both sides would have cost a bit more.
