Hello,

We will soon be building a house in the Lower Rhine region, and we are looking for an expert who can help us with the decision-making and planning of a highly energy-efficient house. Friends recommended the company Eukon from Krefeld (which fits quite well :eek ), but they have no personal experience themselves and only know the company through others (colleagues at work or so). Has anyone had any experience with this company? Please share your thoughts. This is quite important to us.

Thank you!

Only your intention is being questioned. But as mentioned, look for an architect with experience in Passive House design.

It’s clear that you don’t have much knowledge on the subject, no offense intended. Energy-efficient building is such a broad topic that it needs to be specified more precisely.

Saving energy is not the same as over-insulating a building with layers of insulation.

That is why advice from an independent expert is recommended.

Experienced passive house architects and general contractors have ready, functional concepts that the craftsmen they work with can implement and understand. Nothing is less efficient than incorrectly designed, installed, and adjusted technology.
You don’t need lots of complex technology—unless, no matter the cost, you want to push the last 2 percent to the limit.

I do not earn any money, whether employed or self-employed, from a particularly energy-efficient house. Whatever you understand by that.
