Hello,

we are now in the final phase of planning, and the remaining issue is the position of the house. Since the driveway’s width and location are fixed, and the floor plan should remain as is, I thought there really wasn’t any alternative arrangement, right?

Plot and floor plan: house with garden, carport, and entrance area

Hmm, is the plan aligned to the north? What does the neighboring development look like? Where are the streets? Single-story, one and a half, or two-story? Room layout?

Not oriented, north is to the right. South is to the left.
On the left and right are other properties of the NBG. There is plenty of space at the back (60m (197 feet) or more to the neighboring house) due to older buildings.
The street (probably a play street) is located on the driveway side.
1 - Two-story urban villa. At the front are an office and guest WC, at the level of the carport is the utility room, and in the entire rear area with an extension is the living and dining area with kitchen.

What exactly is a one-story city villa? A modern term for a bungalow? 😀

For you: 1.5 floors. Since those don’t really exist, they are considered single-story houses (the upper floor is not a full story).
Just like your house 😉

But a townhouse? I know the Mediterranean villa, the typical townhouse, and, if necessary, the attic floor. I assume this is a standard townhouse with an extension (that square part?).
By the way, I like the orientation!
