My parents are currently considering installing a photovoltaic system on the roof of their terraced house. Additionally, they are thinking about also installing a photovoltaic system on the carport.

The problem is that the path to the carport crosses several private properties before reaching the house. Therefore, connecting the photovoltaic system on the carport to the house is not an option.

Is there a solution to install a photovoltaic system on a carport without having to connect it to the house?

Thank you!

Yes, have an electrical connection installed there with its own distribution panel and meter.

Ok, can this be done directly from the street without needing to be connected to the house?

Better to call the utility provider, but apart from the costs, there should be no objections.

What is the purpose behind this?
Who is supposed to use the electricity if it is neither fed into the grid nor connected to the house?!

Charging an electric car (not yet owned, but possibly purchased in the future) via a wall box.
