ᐅ Parking space shed / carport shed

Hello!

I am currently facing the following "problem": I have no idea where it would be most practical to place the shed, as well as the compost heap.
Shed: should it go in one of the back corners of the property? Or rather close to the house, behind the parking space for the car?
Do you have any tips on what to consider here?
Of course, the compost heap should not be right next to the house because of the smell.
Or next to/by the neighbor’s garage? Our neighbor’s garage is adjacent to the rear part of the left side of our property.

Are there perhaps any programs that let you try out different options? It’s usually hard to visualize otherwise.
