Hello,

During our construction, the wrong window was delivered, and we are currently waiting for the correct one. Now we thought about installing the wrong window in another room, as we would like it there as well. This would provide us with additional light in the room. The wall is already built with aerated concrete blocks, of course. There is no plaster on the inside or outside yet. Can anyone tell me roughly what the cost might be? They won’t need the window themselves anymore since it was a custom-made unit.

Thanks for your advice

Hello,

I would ask the window supplier for the price of the window. Then ask the mason how much it would cost to remove the wall, install a lintel, and fit the window.

In your position, I would also follow E.Curb’s advice, but you should additionally ensure that the work is done by a truly reputable company. It is of no use if the work is cheap but mistakes are made.
