Hello, it seems to me that there was a longer pause during the concrete pouring and the concrete had already become too stiff, so the new and old concrete did not bond properly. It is said that without a planned joint, you should always pour fresh concrete onto fresh concrete. If that was the case, the joint is very likely not 100% watertight. I would discuss this with an expert before the basement walls are installed. However, those are probably already scheduled for Monday.

That might still be acceptable, or it could be a major defect. As already mentioned, this is a starting edge where the mixer was not present.
