Hello,
I am looking for a video door intercom system combined with an alarm system to monitor windows and doors, which also allows connection of smoke detectors and especially gas detectors. The alarm notifications and control should be possible at home via Wi-Fi and an Android app, and via SMS when away.
I haven’t found anything suitable through search functions or Google.
Does anyone here have experience with something like this?
Regards
MaHaus

Hello!
I got a video door intercom system from BJ. With an IP gateway, you can access the device remotely. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to test this yet, since the latest version of the gateway won’t be available for a few weeks.
I’m also using "Homematic" to monitor windows with reed switches and glass break detectors. I plan to connect a Raspberry Pi or similar device to visualize the information. There are also ready-made Android apps like HomeDroid. Using a Fritzbox router, it should definitely be possible to access the home network from outside.
With all these efforts, it’s important to keep the purpose in mind. Many things are possible... What interests me most is whether I have left a window open.
Best regards, torsan
