Good evening dear forum members,
We are currently deciding on the bathroom vanity, especially the material. At the moment, we are leaning towards a double sink made of mineral cast from the company Inda.
I am interested to hear about your experiences with mineral cast regarding maintenance, scratches, etc. Also, is a glossy or matte finish better?
The manufacturer doesn’t matter; I’m purely looking for feedback on mineral cast. Should we go for it or rather avoid it?
Thank you very much!

We replaced the white sink in the bathroom last year at our own expense (rental apartment) because the bubble bath for children caused stains that could not be removed. We also have extremely hard water, so limescale removers are not effective.
We have a white sink in the kitchen. It is true that stains can develop over time, but they usually disappear again with normal cleaning. Otherwise, I once left a mixture containing descaler in there for an hour. That removes all the buildup. Of course, I have no idea what would happen if you use this on other colors.
Overall, the sink is very durable. I was also concerned about what might happen after some time if you scrub with pans and such in it. But so far (after 6 years), everything is still perfect.
