Hi, does anyone know what this type of bracket is called?

Regards

Wooden fence with concrete foundation; several garden pots with leaves on the ground, trees next to it

Do you mean the posts? Steel rectangular tubing, hot-dip galvanized.

A quick tip: check whether this is allowed in your area.

Thank you. At the bottom, they also have an overlap at both the front and back where they were drilled into the curb stone. Why should something like that not be allowed?

You can't see it in the photo. I meant the height and type of the fence.

I would like the height to be set at 1.8 meters (6 feet) directly on the border with the neighbor, and I would take responsibility for half of it. There should be no issues with that in Baden-Württemberg.

Some development plans are not very flexible. My neighbor also built a 2-meter (6.6 feet) high privacy screen. That was fine with me. When I later inquired at the building authority about a boundary structure and mentioned in passing that the neighbor had installed a 2-meter (6.6 feet) privacy screen, I was told that something like that is not permitable. But where there is no complainant, there is no judge.
