ᐅ Many issues with exterior roller shutters

Hello,
I hope to get some advice here.
We built our house in 2012 and all the windows have electric exterior roller shutters in white aluminum.
At one corner unit, there are top-mounted roller shutters. The box is hidden, so it’s not noticeable.
The shutters are installed in reverse there, and the slats are increasingly showing dents and scratches.
The window installer says this is normal.
Is that really the case? After only 9 years? These are expensive Weru windows and these two large roller shutters are from Roma.
