Hello everyone!

I plan to install recessed spotlights for most of the lamps in our house. However, it’s more difficult than expected to order such a variety online. Maybe someone here has advice.

We will install a small Somfy Tahome controller, which will have a remote control, and 12 wireless in-line switches that only support ON/OFF. The software setup for about 20 devices is also part of the plan.

I’m really interested in dimming functionality because the lamps are supposed to have high output, for the few times when full brightness is needed. It’s probably not possible to replace the switches with dimmers anymore—I've sent an inquiry about that.

An alternative could be Zigbee or other smart home lamps that have an internal “dimmer.”

So far, I’ve only found lamps with very low brightness of around 500lm (lumens). Most lamps would require outputs between 600 and 2300lm (lumens) due to dark floors and high ceilings. Also, the installation depth should be only 4cm (1.6 inches), they should have adjustable spotlights, the beam angle should be 60° or less, and the light should be warm white.

If necessary, I would also take spotlights without Zigbee, but I can’t find any like that either. I’d appreciate a tip on where to buy something like this. I don’t think my product requirements are unusual at all, so I feel like I’m missing something in my search.

I’ve come to accept that the lamps will have to be discarded when the light source fails, and I plan to keep a small backup stock for that.

Best regards,
Reltaw

The LEDLUMI Single White LED Spot has nearly 840 lumens at 2850 K (2816°F). Otherwise, these units are excellent.
