Neither of us are skilled tradespeople, and we don’t personally know an electrician who could help us. We have about 20 lamps to be installed throughout all rooms and corridors. How much should it roughly cost if an electrical company does the work on site? (This is not about purchasing the lamps, just the interior installation).
Before we request quotes, we want to get a general idea of the expected cost. The less knowledge you have, the higher the risk of being charged an excessive price (for example, the price range from different companies for installing a circulation pump was between 500 and 1500 euros net).

Half an hour per light fixture is realistic if it’s done nicely. For complex lighting systems, it can take a bit longer. For example, I have PAULMANN LED spotlights, where I extended the original wiring with 20cm (8 inches) of HV05 cable into a small separate junction box with a terminal block because the original connection space designed for standard NYM cable was too small. I needed more time per spotlight due to that.
Then calculate around €50 per hour plus some travel costs to get a realistic price.

Buy lamps from him, and the installation will be cheaper. Want to bet? That’s been my experience. We bought two outdoor lamps, several spotlights, one dimmable ceiling lamp and two non-dimmable ones, as well as some lamps for the garage and floor from him, and he didn’t charge anything for installing them. I also had four lamps from Ikea lying around, which his assistant installed for a small tip, so everything was ready. K.
