Hello everyone,

unfortunately, our preferred brick option as clinker is no longer available, and we are looking for comparable clinker bricks (more affordable! / here 1,000 pcs. around 1,300 €). We like the overall harmonious mix of red and gray – neither color dominates. We also appreciate the charm of the stone.

We are looking for thin wall format or long format. Does anyone have any ideas where we might find something similar?

Best regards and have a great Sunday!

The mix shown in catalog images or sample boards is a unique example that cannot be exactly replicated. The wider the range of colors, the more it depends on the intuition of an experienced bricklayer who skillfully distributes the mix while laying the bricks. Especially highly customized facing brickwork often leads general contractors to have Libero-type construction assistants “handle” it more than properly “execute” it, in order to manage the additional costs.

You may not even recognize it again if the joint depth differs by just one millimeter (0.04 inches) or if a different mortar is used. Nowhere else are the disappointments greater compared to what you thought you had precisely selected than with facing bricks.

Unfortunately, the Federal Minister of Health does not warn against facing brick formats that interfere with the sizing rhythms of the structural wall layer—so I suppose I’ll have to take up that task again ;-)

I think the company Hagemeister offers a wide range of red tones (some more or less attractive…). Maybe you can find something in a shade you like.
