ᐅ Legal timeframes for house planning and construction – do they exist?

Hello
We are building with a construction company, and the architect has been designing since March 2nd, but we still have not received the building permit / planning permission.
The architect supposedly has all the documents; only the site plan from another department is missing.

Does anyone have any idea if it is possible to set a deadline or something like that?
I feel helpless, and there must be something that can be done.
The contract does not specify when the house should be completed either.

Best regards

The site plan was made back then by the surveyor, already in May or so (externally), including trees, boundaries, ditches, etc. The architect and I both received it in A3 format, so a really large sheet.

The architect and the person creating the "still missing site plan" all belong to the house building company. I will write to him later to say that we will outsource the site plan if it can be done faster that way.

Assigning the creation of a site plan again when one already exists? ... I don’t quite follow ...

Well, I just don’t know which site plan the architect is referring to.
